Welcome back to Tech Service Today's IT Disaster of the Week series where we post the ugliest IT environment our technicians run into each week.

TST services a lot of customers in the retail and restaurant industries. It amazes us how some quick serve restaurants diligently mop their floors and scrub their tables and counters several times a day, and yet filthy IT disasters like this can be found beneath those spotless counters.

The same is true for many retail stores, even the high-end stores inside the swankiest shopping malls in America. During the overnight hours, custodial crews buff the floors and meticulously clean every sitting area, fitting room, and space visible to customers. But if you peek under the checkout registers, you often find grungy, disorganized messes like this week’s featured photo.
