Welcome back to Tech Service Today's IT Disaster of the Week series where we usually showcase the ugliest IT environment our technicians ran into this week.

But as trick-or-treaters prepare to don their costumes for Halloween, we've chosen to deliver this video compilation of IT disaster photos we took at customer sites throughout the year, which are guaranteed to put a scare in every IT professional.

It’s frightening how often Tech Service Today is called on to service a client network, and our technician arrives to find a disaster. Whether it’s the traditional cabling rat’s nests or the piles of IT equipment we find under counters or on dirty floors, as IT professionals we find these environments utterly disturbing.

The only good that’s come from these messy environments is Tech Service Today’s wildly popular IT Disaster of the Week photo blog series which we started over two years ago. With every new disaster photo we post, we do so with the goal of educating other IT professionals about the right and wrong ways to install and manage their networks.

But this week, we’ll forego the technical tips that always accompany our IT Disaster of the Week. Instead, we're just sharing this video collection of some of the ugliest IT disasters our Technicians uncovered this year while servicing client networks....purely as a form of technology-related entertainment.

So kick back and enjoy the many tricks played on us so far this year, which we've compiled into this annual treat for you!
